This is a tort action arising out of an accident which occurred on March 4, 1949, in the village of Cut Off, in Lafourche Parish, when a Mercury automobile struck and killed one Francis Bagala. The plaintiffs, Joseph J. Bagala, et al., the children of the decedent, seek to recover the sum of $10,591.72 for the alleged wrongful death of their father averring that one of the defendants, Clarence J.
