This case involves the validity of an amendment to the zoning ordinance of the city of Chicago as applied to a tract of land of approximately fourteen acres. This property was purchased in 1932 and in March 1947 plaintiff contracted to sell it to the Erie Railroad Company for $195,000. That sale was conditioned upon good title being shown, without zoning restrictions...
