Plaintiff seeks the recovery of a cow and calf, admittedly community property, sold by his wife to the defendant on or about September 30, 1950. Damages are alleged in the amount of $150 for the deprivation of the use of the cow, and in the alternative it is prayed plaintiff be awarded the sum of $250 covering the value of the cow and calf.
