This suit was brought by the appellee, Burl Beeman, to recover damages for injuries inflicted upon his land by the appellant, White River Levee District. It is the plaintiff's theory that the District wrongfully removed an old levee and thereby exposed the plaintiff's land to overflow from the White River.
