This litigation arose out of a strike which occurred at the Dearborn, Michigan, Assembly Plant of the River Rouge group of the Ford Motor Company. The Ford Assembly Plant at Louisville was closed from May 10, 1949, to June 7, 1949, as a result of the Michigan strike.
