We have here three cases arising out of a contest in a municipal election held on November 8, 1949, between Laurence H. Banks, hereinafter referred to as the petitioner, Daniel F. Sullivan, and others for the office of councillor of the city of Boston from Ward 9, for the years 1950-1951.
