Robert Carolina, at about 2:45 P.M. on July 3, 1949, was driving his Ford automobile in a northerly direction on U. S. Highway 61-65, followed by a car operated by a Mr. Brown who was followed by another car operated by a Mr. Zwaifler. These three cars were preceding a Pontiac driven by Louis Mack.
