OPINION.

HILL, Judge:

The respondent determined a deficiency in petitioner's income tax for the taxable year 1945 in the amount of $96.37. Petitioner claims an overpayment of income tax for that year in the approximate amount of $4,200. The only question presented is whether petitioner is entitled to a loss deduction in 1945 as a result of the collection of 10,000 pounds in payment in full of an indebtedness owed the Estate of Frank D. Waterman.<...
