This is an action for damages for wrongful death brought by the administratrix of the estate of Rollie Everett Davidson, who was killed by defendant's train on a public crossing in Lawrence County, Missouri. The cause was transferred to Christian County, on change of venue, where it was tried by a jury. The only issue submitted was negligence under the humanitarian doctrine. Plaintiff recovered a verdict for $6,000.00 and, from the judgment entered...
