This is a suit arising from an accident wherein Harold J. Scharnette, a seven year old school boy, was struck by an automobile being driven by James Prather, the defendant. The school boy's father sues for the sum of $70.25 for medical expenses in connection with his son's injuries and for $750.00 for the pain and suffering of his son. The material allegations of the petition are as follows:
