On February 5, 1946 Alexandre Schaposchnikoff, a French citizen, filed a demand against the estate of May Scullin De Gheest in the Probate Court of the City of St. Louis. The Probate Court allowed the claim and upon appeal and trial in the Circuit Court judgment was entered for the sum claimed, $28,000, together with six per cent interest from January 1, 1946...
