This is an action by the United States for treble damages and equitable relief under §§ 205 and 206 of the Housing and Rent Act of 1947, as amended, 50 U.S.C.A.Appendix §§ 1895, 1896. A previous motion to dismiss made by defendant-landlord was allowed as to the claim for treble damages on the ground that the tenants involved had instituted actions in a state court.
