This is a personal injury action for damages for injuries to plaintiff while walking across a metal vault door in a Chicago sidewalk. Plaintiff sued the owners of the building to which the vault door led, the lessee of a corner restaurant in the building, and the lessee of the balance of the building, operated as a hotel.
