HARWOOD, Judge.

This appellant was tried on an indictment charging her with murder in the first degree. The victim was appellant's 34 months old son, who died as a result of strangulation. At the trial below she interposed pleas of not guilty, and not guilty by reason of insanity. The jury returned a verdict of guilty of manslaughter in the first degree, and fixed appellant's punishment at imprisonment in the penitentiary...
