This case grew out of a traffic accident at McCoole, Allegany County, Maryland, on December 21, 1945, in which a pedestrian, Robert Whiteman, 32 years old, was struck by an automobile driven by Robert Billmeyer and died of a fractured skull. Suit was brought under Art. 67 of the Code and resulted in a verdict of the jury in favor of the three minor children of the decedent. The widow, having remarried, was awarded...
