In an original proceeding the People of the State of Colorado ex rel. John W. Metzger, Attorney General of the State of Colorado, filed an "Application" for a writ in the nature of prohibition against the District Court in and for the county of El Paso and state of Colorado, and G. Russell Miller, as judge thereof, and George F. Kirk. We issued an alternative writ requiring the respondents to show cause on or before the 22nd day of September, 1949...
