Plaintiff was seriously injured on May 15, 1947, while engaged in cutting and hauling logs to the mill of the Burlington Lumber Company. Total disability resulted from the accident because of which he was paid workmen's compensation by the lumber company's insurer, Consolidated Underwriters of Kansas City, Missouri, for thirty-four (34) weeks, at $20.00 per week. Upon cessation of such payments this suit was filed wherein the plaintiff seeks judgment...
