Jack Slansky was tried by a jury in the Circuit Court for Prince George's County on the statutory charge of bigamy. Code 1939, art. 27, sec. 19. The State showed that on August 31, 1940, the defendant married Sima Lehrman in New York City, and on April 26, 1946, he married Juliet Warmack in Hyattsville.
