Defendant-appellant, the Flintkote Company, has appealed to this court from a judgment of the district court, decreeing specific performance of a contract in which the defendant had agreed to purchase from the plaintiff, John Trasher, certain property situated in the City of New Orleans for the purchase price of $10,000.00, less a credit of $1,000.00 paid to plaintiff's agent as a deposit on the purchase price of the property.
