Appellant, Leo F. King, brought this suit against the appellee transportation companies under Section 8(e) of the Selective Training and Service Act of 1940, 54 Stat. 890, 50 U.S.C.A.Appendix, § 308(e), alleging in substance that on July 31, 1942, he left the position of depot or station agent in the employ of the appellees to enter the active military service and continued upon active duty until his honorable discharge November 20, 1945...
