The Federal Government built, and thereafter maintained a suspension bridge about 400 feet long, wholly within the limits of the municipality of Fairbanks, Alaska. It runs in a northerly and southerly direction over the navigable Chena River. Wooden rails approximately 6 × 6 inches in width form two lanes across the bridge.
