This is an appeal from a judgment in favor of the United States in an action brought by it to recover $1,372.11, the value of a carload of wheat. In its complaint, the Government alleged that on July 29, 1942, railway car "No. GN 26548", containing 1435.50 bushels of wheat owned by the Commodity Credit Corporation, an agency of the Government, was delivered to the defendant (appellant) at its elevator at Grandin, North Dakota, for unloading...
