In this case nine persons were indicted on multiple counts, charged with various violations of the National Banking Act, 12 U.S.C.A. § 21 et seq. The case came to trial on March 3, 1947, and the verdict was returned on April 25, 1947. Due to the indisposition of the resident Judge, the trial was conducted by a visiting Judge, acting under appropriate designation. In addition to the regular panel of twelve there were two alternate jurors...
