The suit was against two defendants, appellant and one Corbett, for infringing use of a "new and useful improvement in a moving target adapted for use in shooting galleries and similar places where target practice is carried on", and for the damages and profits resulting therefrom. Appellant, through some oversight not explained in the record, defaulted, and there was an interlocutory decree and injunction and a reference to a special master...
