Appellant appeals from a judgment awarding damages in a condemnation suit tried by a jury, instituted by the United States,1 to condemn certain lands for the purpose of establishing a recreational center for soldiers stationed at Fort Sheridan, adjacent to the Fort in Lake County, Illinois.
