The suit, under Section 16(b) of the Fair Labor Standards Act, 29 U.S.C.A. § 216(b),1 was for unpaid overtime compensation for the period from October 24, 1938, to July 8, 1939, and an equal amount as liquidated damages. Brought January 23, 1941, there was a motion to dismiss and an order dismissing the action on the ground that the action not having been brought within the year fixed by Article 3534, Louisiana...
