The Commission, on June 16, 1936, made its Order No. 42, adopting a Uniform System of Accounts for Public Utilities and Licensees, subject to the provisions of the Federal Power Act, 16 U.S.C.A. § 791a et seq. By order dated May 11, 1937, the Commission directed all public utilities subject to its jurisdicton under that Act to submit certain data, statements and information concerning their accounts, records and properties.
