The appellants were convicted and sentenced upon 29 counts of an indictment containing 48 counts for violation of 26 U.S. C.A. Int.Rev.Code, § 2857,1 for that, being officers, agents and employees of Southwestern Distilled Products, Inc., a wholesale liquor dealer in Sulphur Springs, Arkansas, they feloniously made false entries in the records required by law to be kept by said corporation of the distilled...
