The appellants, Clarence DeMontreville, F. M. Grell, A. E. Grell, T. Kaemmerer, John B. McKinley, W. N. Hickey and L. G. Huge, with forty-two others, were convicted under an indictment which contained ten counts charging the use of the mails for the purpose of executing a scheme to defraud and for obtaining money by false representations and promises, in violation of Section 215 of the Criminal Code...
