Appellant seeks reversal of an order discharging his petition for a writ of habeas corpus and remanding him to custody to serve the remainder of a sentence imposed for murder, commuted from death to imprisonment for life. He claims that his constitutional rights were violated in the course of his trial, with the consequence that the court lost jurisdiction to proceed with it and to impose sentence. We find no merit in any of his contentions...
