The respondent is a Connecticut corporation which is concededly subject to the provisions of the National Labor Relations Act, 29 U.S.C.A. § 151 et seq. At its plant in Stamford, Connecticut, it employs approximately 3,400 persons. During the spring of 1937 two rival labor organizations were formed and competed for membership at the Stamford plant.
