In January, 1934, Mrs. Rachlin, the plaintiff, purchased a new Buick automobile from a Buick dealer in New Jersey. She paid the dealer $10 more than the regular price in order to have the windshield and deflectors equipped with "safety glass" manufactured by the defendant, insisting upon this because she had read advertisements which the defendant had caused to be published in a weekly magazine.
