These appeals are from a proceeding which arose out of a contest over the proceeds of two insurance policies issued to the Hartford Sterling Company by the Mechanics and Traders Insurance Company of New Orleans, Louisiana. Prior to March 4, 1931 the Hartford Sterling Company operated a silver plating establishment at Fifth Street and Baltimore Avenue, Fernwood, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
