The appellant, with eleven other persons, was indicted under § 88, Title 18, U.S.C., 18 U.S.C.A. § 88, for conspiring to violate the Internal Revenue Laws of the United States with respect to selling, dealing in, possessing, transporting, removing and concealing distilled spirits upon which no tax had been paid (§§ 1394, 1397, 1441, 1287 and 1152a of Title 26, U.S.C., 26 U.S.C.A. §§ 1152a, 1287, 1394, 1397, 1441...
