Green, a citizen of Pennsylvania, sued the City of Stuart, a municipal corporation of the State of Florida, in the United States District Court for Southern Florida, upon three promissory notes for $5,000 each, and obtained judgment for the aggregate amount due thereon, with interest and attorney's fees.
