The plaintiff in the District Court, a citizen and resident of South Carolina, brought suit against the town of Columbus, N. C., to recover the amount due upon the unpaid interest coupons on certain waterwork bonds issued by the town, and on July 3, 1935, recovered a judgment for $1,350, with interest.
