Donaldson was convicted upon six counts of an indictment which charged eleven defendants with having committed, in the Southern District of Illinois, acts violative of sections 3 and 4 of National Motor Vehicle Theft Act (18 U.S.C. § 408 [18 U.S.C.A. § 408]).1 One of the counts charged them with conspiracy to violate the act.
