Appellants, plaintiffs below, filed their bill of complaint in the lower court March 6, 1935, alleging that they were owners of a large number of shares of the capital stock of the Federal-American National Bank & Trust Company, a banking association formerly doing business in the District of Columbia, and that the Comptroller of the Currency, who had taken charge of the bank, had made a 100 per cent. assessment against the stockholders...
