This is an appeal from a judgment for plaintiff in an action to recover damages for personal injuries sustained while plaintiff was a passenger on an excursion steamboat operated by defendants. The injuries resulted from the explosion of a firecracker thrown by another passenger; and the negligence alleged was the failure of defendant to take reasonable precautions to prevent the shooting of firecrackers by other passengers on the crowded excursion boat...
