A creditors' bill was filed against the Hudson River Day Line on January 11, 1933. A receiver was appointed. On April 13, 1933, Bankers Trust Company, as trustee under a mortgage covering seven steamships owned by the Day Line, filed libel in rem on the admiralty side to foreclose the mortgage.
