A creditors' bill was filed against the Hudson River Day Line on January 11, 1933. A receiver was appointed. On April 13, 1933, Bankers Trust Company, as trustee under a mortgage covering seven steamships owned by the Day Line, filed libel in rem on the admiralty side to foreclose the mortgage. Two days later the trust company filed bill on the equity side for foreclosure on nonmaritime property covered by the same mortgage. The three suits...
