Early in 1933 the Public Service Commission of Maryland undertook an investigation of the rates and charges of the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company of Baltimore, and after extended hearings entered an order November 28, 1933, directing the company to put into effect January 1, 1934, reductions in its rates, sufficient to diminish annual net income by $1,000,000...
