Appellee recovered judgment in the court below for $5,000 as damages on account of the death of Horace Roden, her son, caused as alleged in her complaint by the negligence of appellant. At the conclusion of the evidence appellant moved for a directed verdict in its favor. The motion was denied and exception taken. Later appellant excepted to instructions given the jury by the court and to the refusal of the court to give instructions requested...
