The facts involved in this tax case are stipulated. The record presents but one question. The plaintiff is a domestic building and loan association, incorporated under the laws of Ohio. On September 18, 1924, the Commissioner of Internal Revenue assessed against the plaintiff income and excess profits taxes for the calendar years 1918 to 1923, inclusive, which, together with interest thereon, amounted to $16,783.97.
