Appellant is the widow of Angus A. Powell, who died in Washington City May 13, 1929. Her husband had been employed by Edward W. Minte Company, Inc., as an interior decorator and painter, and, while so employed, on October 9, 1928, a scaffold on which he was standing collapsed, as a result of which he sustained a fracture of the bone of his leg.
