Appellant challenges the correctness of the ruling of the District Court denying his petition for a writ of habeas corpus.

The facts, briefly stated, are: Appellant was indicted in the criminal court of Cook county, Ill., in the month of June, 1917, for robbery while armed with a dangerous weapon.
