This action at law for personal injuries was before this court on a prior occasion, and the opinion of the court, reported at 49 F.2d 692, may be referred to for a full statement of the facts and the issues involved. Hall was injured by the fall of an iron stanchion in a railway storage mail car and brought suit against the Norfolk & Western Railway Company and also against the American Railway Express Company...
