The defendants, Leonard Scaffidi and Michael Daddona, alias Mike Letts, with 10 others were indicted at the December, 1927, term of the District Court for the District of Massachusetts, for conspiring on or about the 20th day of September, 1927, and on divers other dates, to violate the National Prohibition Act. They were arraigned on the 21st day of February, 1928, and pleaded not guilty. On January 2, 1929, they were set for trial before...
