This case involves a collision between the steamship Lake Fairport, belonging to the Mobile, Miami & Gulf Steamship Company, Inc., and the steamship Mendocino, belonging to Wilh. Wilhelmsen of Tonsberg, Norway. The collision occurred during the morning of April 1, 1927, in New Orleans Harbor.
