This suit was brought in the court below on April 30, 1927, by the appellee, an insurance company, against the Greenville Compress Company and any and all persons having or claiming any interest in approximately 28,000 bales of cotton referred to in the bill or in outstanding negotiable warehouse receipts issued for that cotton.
