This is a proceeding for limitation of liability of the sole owner, Spencer Kellogg & Sons, Inc., of the gasoline launch Linseed King, under admiralty rules 54 and 56 (set out under 28 USCA § 723; Comp. St. § 1536), and section 4283, R. S. (46 USCA § 183; Comp. St. § 8021).

On December 20, 1926, at about 6:10 o'clock in the morning, a gasoline launch with an inclosed cabin, known as the Linseed King, left Edgewater...
